Rehabilitation & Reconditioning:

Following the completion of a goal-setting questionnaire, your rehabilitation programme will be individualised to you, your injury and your future aims. Not only this, but it will be include elements of your chosen sport to allow a smooth return to full participation. This programme may take place in the clinic, gym, sports field or home. Your home programme will be detailed on an "Physiotools" exercise sheet to make it easier for you to remember.

Your rehabilitation programme may consist of some or all of the following:
stretches, strength and stabilizing exercises; endurance training; sports specific drills; psychological rehabilitation from injury.
Included in the rehabilitation process, where necessary is field rehabilitation within your sporting environment. This can be done in connection with your coach. The use of field rehabilitation helps to lower the injured sportsperson return-to-sport anxiety, therefore enabling a much smoother return to full participation.
